University of South Dakota students displaced from Coyote Village since Monday night will be able to move back in to the residence hall complex at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Water and power have been restored to Coyote Village but the building will remain closed until Thursday morning as officials make inspections and continue to test systems replaced or repaired from the broken water pipe.
USD will pay for lodging Wednesday night at local hotels for Coyote Village students. Food and transportation will also be provided by the university, including a continuous shuttle service from campus to the hotels that will operate until 11 p.m. tonight.
The 500 residents of Coyote Village will continue to have access to their rooms until 5 p.m. Wednesday to retrieve clothing and belongings during daylight hours.
