You won't find a giant guitar on the buildings roof top but Hard Rock Casino and Hotel now has a Sioux City location. Sioux City Entertainment, the group proposing a Hard Rock opened a downtown office on Thursday
Folks can stop by the 5th and Douglas Street location Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM. Thursday's ribbon cutting offered a sneak peak of the Hard Rock experience and was yet another step in the process for Hard Rock Sioux City developers.
"It's kind of like running a marathon at the pace of a 100 yard dash," said Bill Warner President of Sioux City Entertainment. "It feels like we're moving fast but it also feels like it's a long ways coming. We're just going to keep our head down and every day try and do a little bit more to help people understand why we have the best project," said Warner.
The next major hurdle for all four casino proposals comes March 26th when Iowa Racing and Gaming conducts public hearings in Sioux City.
