A Sioux Center teen was taken to a hospital in Sioux Falls after a weekend accident.
Joselyn Zomermaand, 17, was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix Saturday afternoon when she pulled into an intersection right in front of a Pontiac Vibe that was driven by Carolyn Meendering, 20.
Zomermaand was seriously injured and taken to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Meendering sustained minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
