Eight people are facing federal charges in connection with armed robberies in Sioux City and South Sioux City last summer.
According to court paperwork, David Johnson, 24, Christopher Bailey, 19, and Joshua Fields, 21, are charged with two counts each of conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime and one count each of possession of a short-barreled rifle, possession of a short-barreled shotgun and robbery.
They are accused of robbing Seoul Foods in South Sioux City, on June 19 and Sarg's Mini Mart, in Sioux City, on July 13.
Rudy Johnson, 18, and Terrence Miles, 20, and Austin Peters, also known as Austin Stadler, 19, are also charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime and possession of a short-barreled rifle the robbery of Seoul Foods.
Paige Mathison, 20, is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime and possession of a short-barreled shotgun in connection with the Sarg's Mini Mart robbery. Mathison is accused of being the lookout and getaway driver in the robbery.
Austin Peters is accused of being the lookout and getaway driver for in the Seoul Foods robbery.
David Johnson has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to all seven charges. The plea agreement has been sealed.
Mathison, Bailey, Fields, Miles, Johnson and Peters have all pleaded not guilty and are scheduled to stand trial March 4.
Dustin Mathison, 24, is charged with possession of a short-barreled rifle, and has pleaded guilty to loaning a sawed-off rifle to David Johnson to use in the Sarg's Mini Mart robbery. As part of a plea agreement, Mathison has agreed to a prison sentence of 24-36 months.
No sentencing dates have been set for David Johnson or Dustin Mathison.
