A fatal accident has been reported in Pierce county Nebraska. The sheriff's office says the crash occurred about 5 miles North of Battle Creek. A semi was traveling South on 546th ave. It then left the road and went into the ditch. The truck driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened just after 4 p.m.
The name of the driver is not being released until family can be notified.
