There aren't many people who dislike chicken wings, especially on Super Bowl Sunday.
So what's a restaurant famous for its chicken wings to do on such a holiday?
Well, we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings in Sioux City on Sunday to see what folks there were doing to prepare.
They've prepared by adding staff and adding chicken. Lots of it.
They had an extra 5,250 wings delivered just for Super Bowl Sunday, that's extra.
To give you some perspective, on a typical Sunday, Buffalo Wild Wings usually goes through just over 2,000 wings all day.
The football holiday's a good opportunity to make a decent profit considering the restaurant manager says cost of chicken wings has gone up significantly in the past 2 years.
Buffalo Wild Wings Manager Andy Schmitz said, "The price of chicken wings has gone up about 400% for our costs in the last 2 years. It used to be the leftover part of the chicken. Everybody wanted the breast meat and stuff like that and now everybody's going for the wings."
For Sunday, most of its business will come from takeout orders. The restaurant can only cook 500 wings every 15 minutes and can not exceed that.
And as of 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, they were maxed out for the next few hours.
There have been some rumors and fears swirling online about a possible chicken wing shortage.
The horror, right? Well, you can be at ease. Most of those in the industry say that those rumors are just that, rumors and have no real validity.
