A mother and her two daughters were left homeless Monday night after fire caused their home to be red tagged.
Heavy smoke and flames were visible from an upstairs bedroom window at 1500 West 3rd Street when fire crews arrived on the scene shortly before 4:30.
Early Monday night the fire marshall was still in the home investigating a cause. The family managed to escape without injuries. Red Cross workers are on the scene helping the family with temporary housing.
Channel 9 Eyewitness News will have more on the cause of the fire when investigators release that information.
