The Siouxland Humane Society is desperately trying to find a home for one of its dogs. Four-year old Shepard mix, named "Doc". He has been at the shelter for four months, Which is a lot longer than most dogs stay at the shelter. The shelter waived the adoption fees for "Doc," who it says, is a loving playful pup, But is better suited for a home with out little kids.
"He's very loving, sweet, affectionate, playful. Little kids just make him very nervous, he just doesn't do well around them," said Heidi Kaelke, supervisor at Siouxland Humane Society.
Kaelke says the best home for "Doc" is one with no kids, and no other pets. If you know anyone that may be interested in adopting "Doc" you can call the Siouxland Humane Society at 712-252-2614.
