Healthways, the company behind the Blue Zone healthy initiative is hiring four paid management type positions, along with three unpaid volunteer positions. The jobs would be in Sioux City for the next 2-4 years. And you don't need any specific training or education.
"What we're looking for is diversity, for people who can reach out to the community, people that are engaged in the community. You don't have to be from Sioux City. You just have to be willing to be somebody that will get involved and have an interest in blue zones," said Derek Carmona, environmental specialist.
The city is looking to fill those positions immediately.
