Sioux City, IA - The No. 6 Morningside Lady Mustangs got a huge boost of confidence Saturday with a win over No. 9 Briar Cliff.
They beat the cross town rivals on the Chargers' home court -- 85- 73 -- not the outcome most expected.
That win marks the seventh straight victory for Morningside. They're now in the driver's seat controlling their own destiny, which might include their first conference championship since 2009.
The Lady Mustangs return to the court this Wednesday in Yankton, SD against Mount Marty.
