The Pollard family said they lost almost everything after a fire broke out in their Riverside apartment on Wednesday.
Fortunately, nobody was injured in the fire, and crews were able to put it out quickly.
The building wasn't heavily damaged, but again, the family claims that almost all of their belongings have been destroyed because of smoke damage.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. Officials say a candle or desktop computer may have been what sparked it.
We found out about the family's losses through a Craigs List posting, and when we contacted Travis Pollard and his wife they said they are in desperate need of food, clothes, a baby's car seat, furniture and many other things.
