A police pursuit leads to a foot chase in Southwest Monona County, Saturday afternoon.
It happened at around 12:30 p.m. Onawa police say a deputy suspected some type of "criminal activity" and attempted to pull over a red Dodge pick up truck pulling a trailer. Authorities say the driver failed to stop and sped off. The chase continued into Harrison County, where the driver bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area. State Patrol, and even an airplane was called to help in the search. The public is not in danger, but the Monona County Sheriff's office is still looking for the suspect.
If you have any information you are urged to call the Monona County Sheriff's office, or Onawa Police.
