Over 100 people joined the executive producer of the movie Bully on Tuesday for a special screening of the documentary. The film was partially shot in Sioux City.
The Institute for Lifelong Learning at Western Iowa Tech hosted the showing.
Waitt says she's happy about awards the movie has been nominated for and won but she's more concerned about the movie's message making it's way into schools. "The film's life really starts now when it gets into the school and more and more people see it. Really the film is larger than awards. The film's about bullying and the films about the issue," added Waitt.
After the showing folks discussed the film during a panel discussion.
