A City of Spencer ambulance has been damaged in a traffic accident. According to the Osceola County Sheriffs Office, Wendy Swarthout of Ocheyedan was driving on highway nine when her vehicle crossed the center line at the same time an ambulance was coming from the other way.
The ambulance reportedly tried to move out of the way but was sideswiped by Swarthout's pickup. No one was injured in the accident. Both vehicle lost a mirror and the drivers window on the pickup was shattered.
Swarthout was cited by the sheriff's office.
