On Sunday, Bronson, IA's only restaurant, the Bronson Bar & Grill appears to have been destroyed in an early morning fire.
As of now, it appears the fire sparked somewhere in the kitchen.
This is a big loss for the community, especially considering the bar had 350 people show up for it's fish fry on Friday night.
Brianna Fester of Bronson, IA said, "I know that it's always busy. There's always a bunch of cars there. So I know a lot of people are going to be bummed about it and upset about it because that's where a lot of people got together and had fun."
It took fire crews about 6 hours to put out the blaze. Owner Dan Lewis tells us that he's been operating the business for almost a year and hopes to rebuild.

The Bronson Bar and Grill is owned by Dan Lewis. Lewis tells Channel 9 Eyewitness News that he got the call that the business was on fire at about six Sunday morning. According to Lewis the manager of the Bronson General Store noticed smoke coming from the roof of the bar building and after investigating further reported the fire. Lewis toured the property on Sunday afternoon with insurance workers. He says he'd like to think the business will be rebuilt but no decisions will be made until after insurance work is complete. Lewis says he purchased the business in January of 2012 and after several months of renovations opened for business around the first of April.
