Sioux City Police received a call around 2:15 a.m. about a vehicle that drove into a building in Morningside. They arrived on the scene just minutes after a pick-up truck literally slammed into a dental office.
The driver of truck, John Reed of Sioux City, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for failing to maintain control of his vehicle. His truck was eventually pulled out.
Reed hit a water line that caused a major water leak. Crews were on the scene cleaning up the mess.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
