Sioux City Fire crews had to use the "jaws of life" Tuesday, to pull a victim from a vehicle after a crash.
It happened right around 5:30 p.m., on West 7th Street in Sioux City, just across from Cook Park. Sioux City Police say, a rental truck blew through a stop sign and T–boned the driver's side of the vehicle. Two people were inside the car at the time.
The passenger was able to get out OK, but fire crews did have to shatter the car windows and use the "jaws of life" to pull the driver from the car. She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non–life–threatening injuries.
