Get your western boots on for this years choice of "One Book One Siouxland" reading initiative.
The book is titled "Shane"and it was written by Jack Schaefer.
The western novel is based in Wyoming in the late 1800s, and the big kick off for reading initiative is this Saturday, March 2nd at the main Sioux City Library.
The event includes book discussions, film screenings, sharing of thoughts, and several historic western programs.
