Model train enthusiasts from all over the Midwest flocked to Sioux City on Sunday.
The Sioux City Cosmopolitan Club hosted a "Model Train Show" to help raise money for diabetes awareness.
Over 30 vendors and train enthusiasts from across the Midwest came to share their love of trains.
"There has not been one of these in Sioux City for over 20 years, so I proposed this to the club as a fundraiser," said John Koskovich of the Sioux City Cosmopolitan Club. "There are a lot of people out there who are 'closet model railroaders'. A lot of people don't know."
The show raised over $2,500 dollars, an amount that exceeded the club's expectations.
