LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ A judge has again delayed the sentencing of a Nebraska woman who pleaded no contest to faking an anti-gay hate crime.  Charlie Rogers, who grew up in South Sioux City, will be sentenced on April 18th instead of March 14th.

Rogers, the former UNL and SSC, NE basketball player, had reported being attacked by three men who carved anti-gay slurs into her arms and stomach. She later was charged with filing a false report, a misdemeanor.  The Judge needs more time because he has to read at least 850 pages of reports before he can sentence Rogers.

Rogers, 34, maintains her innocence, but her attorney has said Rogers doesn't want a court fight.  She faces up to a year in jail.
