The sound of snow plows and shoveling fills the air in Sioux City, as Mother Nature decided to drop quite a bit of snow at our door step Saturday night into Sunday.
"We're you expecting to see this much?"
"Not this much," said Maggie Renszelman, of Sioux City.
Around nearly every corner in town, you could find folks shoveling, salting, and snow blowing the sidewalks; cleaning up the nearly 4 inches of snow that fell over night.
"It's a little irritating," said Dana Crawford, of Sioux City.
Just when we think Spring is almost here, Mother Nature decides to dump the most snow we've seen all year, in March.
"We've just uncovered my wife's rose bushes a little while ago, and then when we turned around, naturally because we did that... it snowed," said Rick Wheeler.
And while it wasn't what most folks expected to wake up to Sunday morning, they really weren't too surprised. Why?
"I live in Iowa. I know it's coming sooner or later," said Terry Svendsen.
The mind set this Sunday: clean up the snow early, so you can relax later.
"Just get it over with," said Renszelman.
"Get her done. Find the hot chocolate, put my feet in hot water and say to heck with it," said Wheeler.
