Sioux City's West 7th Reconstruction project isn't without it's skeptics.

On Tuesday, Sioux City held its first meeting for business owners to get their input on the project.

Mike Feathers, manager at Steffen Truck Equipment, said he's on board with the project, but he's concerned with how revamping the streets will affect business.

"My concern is getting large trucks and equipment into the neighborhood for loading and unloading freight and deliveries. They've dead ended a lot of streets over the years with improvements and changes. I'm concerned that doesn't continue," said Feathers.

The project planning is still in its early stages.

Right now the city is looking into making improvements to fix pavement and utilities as well as buildings' exteriors.
