The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors will get a pay raise come July 1st this year.
The board voted today to increase its salary by two percent.
Annual salary will rise from $31,554 dollars to $32,185 dollars.
The County said in comparison to similar sized counties like Woodbury, it ranks lower than most in county officials'' pay.
"The key point is keeping in align with county officers throughout the whole state of Iowa. Example, Board of Supervisors ranks 32nd in the state even though we're the 6th largest county in the state," said Dennis Butler, Woodbury County Finance Controller.
The two percent raise will also apply to other county officials like the auditor, treasurer, sheriff and county attorney.
It comes after the board "officially" passed the county's $50,069,381 on Tuesday.
