IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) _ An Iowa City police officer has helped deliver a baby ``right here, right now'' after stopping an SUV for speeding.

Cedar Rapids station KCRG reports that Officer Kevin Wolfe pulled over the vehicle Sunday night.

In audio picked by a microphone on Wolfe, the man driving the SUV yells out as the officer approached: ``Sir, we're delivering a baby right here, right now!''

The baby's head and arms were out by the time Wolfe reached the passenger side of the SUV.

Wolfe helped mom and her baby boy through the last stages of the delivery and wrapped the babe in a blanket. Wolfe then escorted the couple to Mercy Hospital.

Police spokeswoman Vicki Lalla (LAH'luh) says Wolfe didn't take any names down because he didn't ticket the driver.
