Today is the first day of the 5th Annual International Youth Conditioning Association Summit in Louisville, Kentucky. The event, featuring contributions from some of the most prominent names in the field of youth fitness and athletic development, continues through tomorrow.
Hosted at the historically significant Brown Hotel in Louisville, the 5th Annual International Youth Conditioning Association Summit brings together leading experts to discuss various important issues in youth sports training.
“This year’s IYCA convention will provide youth trainers with a number of innovative ways to help their young athletes develop,” says IYCA CEO Pat Rigsby. “The goal is the help personal trainers understand how to safely ensure their young athletes reach their full potential.”
Rigsby and his business partner, IYCA President Nick Berry, hope that the hands on coaching sessions at the convention will give youth fitness specialists the information they need to develop effective youth programs regardless of the resources they have at their disposal.
As it has done for every prior IYCA Summit, the youth sports and fitness company has assembled a unique roster of presenters who will outline important topics in the field of youth athletic performance training.
“Our presenters will teach trainers about how to develop explosive power in young athletes, how to create a winning culture for your youth fitness business, how to program a long term athlete training program, and a number of other important lessons,” raves Rigsby.
Rigsby and Berry believe that this year’s International Youth Conditioning Association Summit will be the biggest one yet. Today’s crowd is expected to be among the largest ever to attend, and the list of elite youth fitness professionals giving presentations is as robust as any the company has had.
Among the many experts appearing at the event will be renowned nutritionist Dr. Chris Mohr, athletic development expert Pamela MacElree, elite strength coach Jim Kielbaso, and 2012 IYCA Coach of the Year Melissa Lambert.
The 5th Annual IYCA Summit begins today at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. The event will feature a series of presentations and hands on coaching sessions from elite youth fitness specialists. It ends tomorrow.
