Onawa Man Agrees To Plead Guilty To Robbery & Assault

An Onawa man has agreed to plead guilty to breaking into a home and assaulting the homeowner.

According to court documents, Trae Carter has pleaded guilty to Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Burglary in the 2nd Degree, and Assault, and Going Armed with Intent.

Carter and an accomplice, Nicholas Conyers are accused of breaking into the home of Nancy Marnell and trying to use a stun gun on her before stealing over $100 in cash.

No sentencing date has been set.
