After an upset win on day one at the Big 10 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament, Nebraska had the season come to a close on day two in Chicago.
No. 10 Ohio State routed Nebraska 71-50 in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals on Friday night.
The Buckeyes turned a close game into a runaway with an impressive 30-5 spree spanning halftime that included a little bit of everything.
The Buckeyes (24-7) have won six straight games and seven of eight overall. Brandon Ubel had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Cornhuskers (15-18), better than many expected when coach Tim Miles started his first season as Nebraska head coach.
