Cyclones Await NCAA Tourney Invite After Loss at Big 12 Tourney

Iowa State is playing a waiting game tonight after dropping it's 2nd round game Friday night at the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament in Kansas City.  The Cyclones (22-11) trailed #7 Kansas by just 4 at halftime but couldn't keep pace in the final 20:00 getting knocked off 88-73.

Georges Niang lead ISU with 19 points and Melvin Ejim added 17.

All but guaranteed a spot in this years NCAA Tournament, the Cyclones await word on a regional assignment on Sunday.
