High Speed Chase Leads To Arrest Of 3 People For Forgery

A high speed car chase that began last night in North Sioux City and ended on Sioux City's West Side led to the arrest of three people for counterfeit money.

27 year old Brandon Miller, 21 year old Shaun Wakefield, and 21 year old Alison Daugherty were all arrested and charged with Forgery, which is a class D Felony.

The chase began early this morning in North Sioux City.

Miller was driving a black Ford 150 with expired plates, and Wakefield and Daugherty were passengers.

When police tried to stop him he took off, through Sioux City reaching speeds of up to 80 miles per hour.

During the chase Wakefield and Daugherty began throwing counterfeit money out of the truck.

At one point during the chase Miller rammed a cop car, injuring the officer inside.

The chase finally ended when police disabled Miller's vehicle.

Miller also faces charges of eluding, and assault on an officer as well as forgery.
