Police have cleared all three elementary schools in Algona, IA after a bomb threat was called in Tuesday morning.
Students have been allowed to return to their buildings, and a police officer will remain present at each school for the remainder of the day.
Parents can pick their students up if they wish, but school will continue for the rest of the day.

(Algona, IA) All three elementary schools in Algona, IA have been evacuated after receiving a bomb threat Tuesday morning.
The school district sent out a news release saying that students at Bertha Godfrey, Bryant, and Lucia Wallace Schools have all been evacuated.
Students have been moved to safe locations with a police officer present at each location.
The buildings are being searched and we will continue to update more information as it becomes available.
