(AP) Lincoln Public Schools has placed two schools on lockdown while authorities look for a suspect involved in a nearby shooting.
The Lincoln Journal Star reports Northeast High School and Pershing Elementary have been on lockdown since about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday as police scour several nearby blocks.
Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood says officers were called to the area after a report involving two shots. No one was injured in the shooting.
Authorities have not released additional information.
