Zanes Law held its annual public education School Supply Giveaway and helped 100 teachers in 2011. This years School Supply Giveaway will be held on the first week of august.

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) March 21, 2013

Zanes Law has always held a philanthropic spirit within the Tucson community. As a personal injury law firm, Zanes Law has not only aided their clients but reached out to the larger community donating to multiple charitable organizations throughout Southern Arizona. Among such giving organizations are the Salvation Army, the American Heart Association, the Ronald McDonald House, Beat Cancer Boot Camp, the Boys and Girls Club, MADD, the American Red Cross, and the Blair Charity Group.

In 2011, budget cuts to public education in Southern Arizona had increasingly negative impacts on our education system. Noticing this, Zanes Law created the annual School Supply Giveaway. To help get their year started, 100 teachers are given necessary basic school supplies they might not have the means to buy. Everything from flash drives to paper have been donated on the first Saturday in August for the past two years.

Many benefit from the annual School Supply Giveaway. One teacher, having won a game of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader”, left with a brand new Dell Laptop. The teachers are also able to give back with the American Red Cross bloodmobile being present to take donations.

“One of our core values is to be active and committed to our community. We strongly believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much,” states Zanes Law CEO, Claudia Zanes.

The 2013 3rd annual School Supply Giveaway will be held the first week of August. For more information, please contact chamm(at)zaneslaw(dot)com or visit our Google+.
