The Pierce Bluejays took home their first ever state championship in girls basketball this season. The Jays walked through the state tournament winning every game by double digets. Pierce actually needed help to just get to state. After losing in the subdistrict final they needed a lot to happen in order to gain a wildcard bid to state.
