In just a matter of days, the Iowa Racing and Gaming Committee will be in town to view the sites. And let's just call Tuesday's site visit, "the final debate."
Bill boards, yard signs, even store front windows covered in support, for one of the four casino proposals for Woodbury County.
"I think it's a good idea to promote it. I know it helps the community," said Mike Feltz, of Sioux City.
And its not just signs, but sites, like Facebook, have been a major platform for the casinos to promote their brands.
On Tuesday, the IRGC will head to Woodbury County to tour the four proposed casino locations. The two, Hollywood Casino proposals, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and the Warrior Hotel and Casino. There will be a public meeting held after the tours, and on Siouxland woman says she wont miss it.
"Because I really enjoy the casino, and I want to make sure the right one gets in here,"said Della Beffert of North Sioux City.
And while Beffert may not have a favorite just yet, she does know what she wants from a new casino in Woodbury County,
"More promotions and more entertainment."
If you're interested in going to that meeting.it's 1:30 on Tuesday at the Stoney Creek Inn.
