Sioux City, IA - The Sioux City Bandits lost five players to injuries during Sunday's loss to Omaha. Linebacker Spetlar Tonga, Receiver Eddie Pertilla, and denfensive linemen Anthony Thomas, Darius Davis, and Fred Mitchell are all out of action for an extended period of time. Offensive Coordinator Jarrod DeGeorgia says the coaches are on the phone trying to bing in replacements so they can fill the holes the best that they can. The injuries took four of the Bandits top defensive players out of games for a while. The Bandits will need the younger players on the team to really step up right away. Sioux City takes on Salina this Friday.
