Ames, IA - The Lady Cyclones basketball team has some of the most passionate fan in the country.
The team finished second nationally in average attendance last season, averaging 9,970 fans per game. The Cyclones finish second behind Tennessee and precede the likes of Louisville, Baylor, and Notre Dame to round out the top five.
In 15 home games, ISU topped 10,000 fans 10 times, including a season-high 11,963 fans for the Cyclones' 16-point win against Kansas State. In total, Iowa State drew 149,557 fans for its home contests. Only 12 NCAA Division I schools drew over 100,000 fans this season.
Iowa State finished 13-2 at home, the 1010th time in 18 seasons under Bill Fennelly with two or less losses at Hilton Coliseum.
