Sioux City, IA - Coming off their bye week, the Bandits have been turning heads in the first half of the season posting a 4-1 record. If you ask Head Coach Erv Strohbeen, he'll tell you that the Bandits should be 5-0 -- referencing the Bandits double-overtime loss to the Omaha Beef.
This week they'll be preparing for another rivalry game as Omaha comes to town this Saturday for a CPIFL grudge match.
"Yeah, going into that game against Omaha I know a lot of our fans were excited for it, and once we got down there it was brutal. It was a loud -- it was crazy. We're really looking forward to going down to Omaha and getting that pay back, as you should say." Linebacker Marshall Barney said.
"It's kind of like a storm. It's going to slowly brew into (this) week. If we get a big crowd here making it really tough on them offensively, that's going to be a big factor." Offensive lineman Steve Schmidt said.
The Bandits will host the Omaha Beef this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at The Tyson Events Center.
