Sioux City, IA - Iowa freshman basketball standout Adam Woodbury recently stopped by the KCAU studio to talk about his freshman year with Travis Morgan. Woodbury says life in the Big Ten is a lot different than high school hoops in Iowa. He admits he had a hard time adjusting to the speed and strength of his opponents early in the season, but was eventually able to adjust.
Some interesting questions were posed to Woodbury about the conference.
Morgan: Toughest place to play in the Big 10?
Woodbury: Indiana... they're fans are crazy and they never stop cheering.
Morgan: Best player you played against this season?
Woodbury: Trey Burke! He's so quick. There's no question he's going to be a top 10 pick.
Morgan: Best trash talker in the Big Ten?
Woodbury: Cody Zeller, he said some things to me that I can't repeat on TV.
Morgan: Best trash talker on your team?
Woodbury: Zach McCabe
Morgan: Best place to play (can't use Carver)
Woodbury: Either Michigan or Indiana. Both of those places are loud and have a ton of tradition.
