WAKEFIELD, Neb.--In a game delayed from Friday night due to weather, Laurel-Concord/Coleridge survived a last-minute drive to beat Wakefield 34-33.
Wakefield's Alex Conley made an incredible catch in the third quarter to put the Trojans up 21-13. Conley jumped up and with one hand pulled the ball away from the Bear defender for the score.
After recovering an onside kick, the Trojans threw an interception on the ensuing drive, which would not be the last of the night.
The Trojans had a chance to win the game late, but threw an interception in the end zone to seal the game for the Bears.
