KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Theo Bartman of Northwestern is the NAIA Football National Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Monday. Bartman, a senior running back from Rock Valley, Iowa, rushed for 123 yards and a career-best four touchdowns as Northwester (Iowa) defeated then-No. 1 Morningside (Iowa), 38-28. With his performance, Bartman moves into ninth place on Northwestern's all-time list with 26 career rushing touchdowns. The senior, who had a career-high 33 carries in the contest, also added 57 receiving yards on four catches. This season, Bartman has been a key cog in the Northwestern offense, leading the team in rushing yards (640), touchdowns (11) and all-purpose yards (1,048) while ranking among top 25 nationally in scoring per game (13th, 9.7 points) and all-purpose yards per game (14th, 149.7).
