SIOUX CITY, Iowa--Trailing 3-1 midway through the second period, the Sioux City Musketeers rattled off four unanswered goals to beat Tri-City, 5-3 Saturday night.
The teams were tied at one after the first, but the Storm struck first in the second.
Ryan McMurphy gave Tri-City a one-goal lead, and then Kyle Eastman scored a short-handed goal to put the Storm up 3-1.
Then just thirty seconds apart, Garret Cockerill and Brandon Hawkins lit the lamp to knot things up at three. Cockerill was playing in his first game for Sioux City after being acquired from Des Moines.
In the third, Hawkins scored the game-winner and Sam Saliba added an insurance goal. Joe Snively scored the first game for Sioux City.
The Muskies (25-13-2, 52 points) host Fargo on Friday, Feb. 14.
